On your first visit, the physician will ask you questions about your pain, perform a physical examination, and order any necessary testing (x-ray, MRI, etc.). These will provide most of the information needed to make a diagnosis for your condition.
It may be necessary to perform additional tests or diagnostic procedures in order to provide more information to reach an accurate diagnosis. Spinal injections that are typically used to treat pain may also be used to diagnose the source of your pain. Our pain specialist performs these injections under fluoroscopy (live x-ray guidance) to ensure accurate placement of the medication.
Once your medical provider feels confident with the diagnosis, then a comprehensive treatment plan will be developed for you. In your treatment plan, you may be considered a candidate for therapeutic injections to treat your pain.
We believe that every patient is unique and we strive to make you and your family feel well cared for before, during, and after treatment..
We provide a comprehensive approach to pain including therapies, injections, regenerative treatments and working with other medical specialties as indicated.
